"I feel pretty na!" That's the first ever Whatsapp message I sent to my husband the moment I stepped out Orange Beauty Center last Saturday! Forgive the vanity, but I was feeling really low the past week. My weight gain, my eye bags, my dry hair and all those girly dilemmas were haunting me. So, off I went to the salon! Every lady needs a day of rejuvenation to recharge not mainly the physical strength but the self-esteem! :)
Orange Beauty Center is a newly opened salon and spa in Al Garhoud that caters all our beauty needs from head to toe! Just like its name, the place is zesty and very refreshing to the eyes! The beauty haven have just softly opened a month ago and will have a grand launch early next month. I am one of the lucky girls who received a pampering session invite before the grand opening.
The salon looks gorgeous! It is very clean and well-equipped. The spa however was still not ready when I visited. Few touch ups were still on going, but the manager said that it will be up just in time for the grand launch.

It may be a new name, yet the staff are well-trained and well-experienced. I must also say that they are the friendliest bunch! Every staff that I got to meet and greet offered me something to drink. I declined the first few offers as I just had my morning cup. I think I was asked five times by five different ladies until I finally said yes to a cup of hot tea.
I had my nails done! Yay!
I sat on the posh orange sofa as the staff laid out the swatches of top-rated nail polish brands. It's actually pretty confusing, yet super fun to have hundreds of lovely shades to choose from. Because I work in the medical field, I settled with the lightest shade of pink from CND Vinylux. It's just what I needed; dainty enough to lighten my mood, but wouldn't catch unwanted attention at work. :) The staff gently groomed my nails, gave them the flattering shape and applied my chosen polish. Voila! Beautiful nails in less than an hour!
Aside from the manual mani and pedi, Orange Beauty Center also has a pedicure machine. The tools are autoclaved (a method of sterilization that effectively kills bacteria, virus and fungus) after every costumer. It's really nice to feel safe and pretty at the same time, right?

I also received a wonderful hair treatment! The staff are very knowledgeable. We had a sensible conversation about hair care and what my rebonded crowning glory and oily scalp really need. She applied Macadamia Deep Repair Masque to nourish and to rebuild my damaged hair. She then gave me a very relaxing scalp and shoulder massage. It was such a stress reliever.
Another thing that I found great at Orange Beauty Center is that they prepared the products to be used before my very eyes and not in the pantry or somewhere behind my back. As a costumer, it makes me feel secured that I'll be getting exactly what I deserve.
After the treatment, my hair is not just soft, it smells so nice as well! I went home feeling great inside and out. Orange Beauty Center is a little far from home, but it's worth the journey. You can find the location map at the end of this post.
