Late November, I was a tourist in a city that I call my second home for four days. My aunties, uncles and cousin came for a visit, and it was such a delight to show them how amazing Dubai truly is. A 4-day vacation isn't quite enough to experience everything that Dubai can offer, but we came up with a DIY tour itinerary that at least gave them an overview.

Day 1: Half Day Cultural Tour + Desert Safari
We started the first day with a delicious Arabic breakfast at Reem Al Bawadi. Then, we followed the Old Dubai Do-It-Yourself Walking Tour route which commenced the Gold Souk and ended at Dubai Museum. We had to skip the heritage sites in Shindagha and Bastakiya as we had to go on a desert safari trip from 3 to 9pm.
Day 2: The Wonders of Dubai Part 1
Right after a filling breakfast along Sheikh Zayed Road, we headed to Mall of the Emirates for a snow adventure in Ski Dubai. After lunch, we went to the stunning Madinat Jumeirah, then took a long yet fun stroll towards the open beach beside Burj Al Arab. In the evening, we went to JBR-The Walk and The Beach.
Day 3: The Wonders of Dubai Part 2
We journeyed through The Palm Jumeirah via the monorail, explored The Avenues of Atlantis The Palm and walked along the break water to see the glorious facade of the hotel resort at the tip of The Palm's crescent. We rode the Dubai Tram to Dubai Marina and had our lunch at Marina Walk where we caught a glimpse of the world's tallest twisted tower. Then, we hopped in the Dubai Metro and hopped off at The Dubai Mall station to see the Dubai Fountain, the Dubai Aquarium, the Dubai Dino, and of course, the king of all skyscrapers, Burj Khalifa.
Day 4: FREE day!
On the fourth day, we gave thanks at St. Mary's Church and had a scrumptious seafood lunch at Seafood in a Bucket. We went back to the hotel for check-out, left the luggage for storage and went to Juice World for a refreshing afternoon break. We went for a little bit of souvenir shopping before we traveled to airport for their flight in the evening.
