Premier Inn: Budget Stay in Dubai with a Passport to Discounts

Last month, my parents visited me in my second home - Dubai - for the third time. This time, I wanted them to experience the finer things this city can offer. But you know me, I always find ways to see/eat/do more while spending less, and I have a new discovery! It's the Premier Inn Passport!

I booked a stay at Premier Inn Ibn Battuta when a visit to Dubai Parks and Resorts popped up in our itinerary. DPR is quite far from where we live and I was afraid the long commute will be a hassle to the seniors. Location and budget-wise, Premier Inn Ibn Battuta offered comfort and convenience. The hotel is situated just across Ibn Battuta metro and bus station. We can either take the RTA bus or hop on the free shuttle to Dubai Parks and Resorts.

Premier Inn Ibn Battuta is interlinked to the world's largest themed shopping mall. Right after lunch at Ibn Battuta Mall, we easily found our way to the hotel via a connecting bridge.

Check-in was a breeze.  We were warmly greeted at the reception. The staff gave us an overview of the hotel facilities and the inclusions of our stay. More importantly, the usage of our Premier Inn Passport was thoroughly explained.

For a budget hotel brand, the room is pretty sleek. I was surprised to arrive at a spacious accommodation with a cozy queen size bed, a plush sofa, and a bathtub! Hotel room necessities are offered; coffee/tea making facility, hair dryer, mini bar, flat screen tv with satellite channels. The view is quite good too. We get to have a glimpse of Dubai Marina's skyscrapers from afar.

The hotel stay comes with a delightful morning meal. A variety of breakfast food - International, Arabic, Indian - was well-arranged in the buffet. There's a live-cooking station of egg dishes as well.

Another good and budget-friendly dining experience with our Premier Inn Passport was at Mr. Toad's Pub and Kitchen. 

Located in Premier Inn Ibn Battuta, Mr. Toad's was a great dinner venue option during our hotel stay. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed. We had some British classics: Fish and Chips and Shepherd's Pie. By presenting the passport, we had those two delicious dishes for the price of one!

Fast forward to two weeks after our stay, we used our Premier Inn Passport to avail a huge 50% discount in one of our dream date venues in Dubai! We had a romantic dinner onboard Bateaux Dubai and it was an experience to remember.
