Welcoming Summer in Fujairah

And just like that, summer has sneaked in and Ramadan is just around the corner. The current hot hot hot weather (We're not even at the peak yet!) brings an avalanche of flashbacks of the short-lived winter.

Although it was super quick, I must say that Ed and I have made the most out of the cool temperature with consecutive weekend getaways and plenty of al fresco lunch dates! And it's just right that we bid adieu to the crisp winter breeze and welcome the wild summer sun with a fun road trip.

The Beach at JBR: Sun, Sea and Sand Sculptures

Let's go the beach, each. Let's go get away! Nicki Minaj's song echoed in my head since March! With the severe LSS, I kept on hearing the sun and the sea calling out my name. It's finally beach weather in the desert city! Yay! On a fine Saturday afternoon, Ed and I pulled out the beach necessities that have been hiding in the closet for several months. On our first beach getaway this season, we headed to the powdery sands of JBR. Though it's quite far from home, it has become our favorite as it is not crowded like any other public beaches in the city.

Frolics at Wild Wadi Water Park

I was browsing my Facebook pictures and realized that I have four albums dedicated to Wild Wadi! Yes, FOUR, which simply means I have visited the water park four times for the last five years. The old photos brought nostalgia. I can somehow say that I have witnessed how Wild Wadi changed, along with my life.

Wild Wadi is a great place with fun summer memories. Since the weather has been scorching hot the past few weeks, let me share this refreshing post about Dubai's most refreshing attraction; my favorite water park in the UAE, Wild Wadi.

Going All Inclusive

There are plenty of ways to enjoy a holiday. You can book a budget-friendly apartment or a private villa and whip up a storm in the kitchen every night, making the most of fresh local ingredients and trying your hand at the regional specialities. Or you could opt for a friendly B&B and enjoy a tasty breakfast every morning, followed by a picnic while you're out exploring and a restaurant meal at night. Or you could opt for a hotel, and take your pick from one of many different dining options on offer.

All inclusive is a dining option that's becoming increasingly popular for holidaymakers, and it's not hard to see why. With the cost of living on the rise and salaries being squeezed, many holidaymakers are budget-conscious and want to try to limit how much they spend once they're in the resort. So all inclusive is a great way to do it - whether you're on a package break with the likes of Thomas Cook holidays, or you've booked with the hotel direct.
